    On page 12, after line 14, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 14.  A new section is added to chapter 47.46 RCW to read as follows:

    Any alteration of a proposal under section 13 of this act must include provisions for reversible lanes to accommodate commuter traffic, with the traffic flow during the morning peak-use period directed east into Tacoma and in the evening peak-use period directed west away from Tacoma."

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively, correct any internal references accordingly, and correct the title.

EFFECT:  Directs that any alteration of a proposal under the act include provisions for reversible lanes on the bridges.
