     On page 8, line 21, after Asection.@ insert AA county may levy a rate under this section in excess of six and one‑quarter cents per thousand dollars only if authorized by a proposition submitted to the voters of the county and approved by a majority of the persons voting on the proposition.@

EFFECT: Requires voter approval for new increases in the county conservation futures levy rate.
