     On page 13, after line 35, insert the following:

A(3) The tax imposed under this section shall be a credit against the state tax under chapter 82.08 or 82.12 RCW.  The department shall perform the collection of such taxes on behalf of the county at no cost to the county.@

Renumber subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly

EFFECT: Credits the local option retail sales and use tax against the state portion of the tax.
