ESSB 5606 - H AMD TO CFS COMM AMD(H-2326.3/01) FAILED 4/6/01

     On page 5, line 1 of the amendment, after A(2)@ strike all material through Aposition@ on line 3 and insert the following:

AThe personnel resources board must develop policy recommendations addressing the action that will be taken if a background check result disqualifies an employee from his or her current position.  A report of the recommendations developed must be delivered to the legislature by December 1, 2001@

EFFECT: Specifies that the policy recommendations developed by the Personnel Resources Board be brought to the Legislature for approval.
