    On page 2, line 27, after "techniques." strike all material through "section."

    On page 2, line 28, after "(2)" insert "An applicant who applies for an endorsement within the first year following the effective date of this act may submit documentation of a minimum of fifty hours of training with up to fifty hours of practical experience or continuing education, or a combination thereof, to fulfill the requirements of this section.

    (3)"

    Renumber the remaining subsection consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    On page 2, after line 34, insert the following:

    "(5) The board may adopt rules to implement this section upon consultation with the Washington state veterinary board of governors and licensed massage practitioners with training in animal massage."

EFFECT:  Specifies that a licensed massage practitioner applying for an endorsement as an animal massage practitioner within the first year after the effective date of the endorsement provisions may submit documentation of at least 50 hours of training with up to 50 hours of practical experience or continuing education, or a combination of practical experience and continuing education, to satisfy the application requirements.
