"On page 18, line 3, increase the general fund--state appropriation by $482,000"

"On page 18, line 4, increase the general fund--state appropriation by $474,000"

Correct the total accordingly

"On page 18, beginning on line 32, strike subsection (1) and insert the following:

(1) $482,000 of the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2002 and $474,000 of the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2003 are provided solely for carrying out the powers, functions, and duties of the department of community, trade, and economic development as delegated to the office of community development and the office of trade and economic development. Any appropriation made to the department of community, trade, and economic development for carrying out the powers, functions, and duties of either office of community development or the office of trade and economic development shall be transferred and credited to the appropriate office, and the director of the office of financial management shall make a determination as to the proper allocation and certify the same to the office concerned."

EFFECT: Provide state general funds to fund the costs associated with two separate offices.

FISCAL IMPACT: Increases the CTED appropriation by $482,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $474,000 in fiscal year 2003 from the state general fund.
