     On page 2, line 30, decrease the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2002 by $300,000.

     On page 2, line 31, decrease the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2003 by $300,000.

     Correct the total accordingly.

EFFECT:  Removes funding from the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee for the performance audit of school district compliance with state and federal regulations concerning special education.

FISCAL IMPACT:  Reduces General Fund-State by $600,000.
