     On page 3, line 8, beginning with Aand@ strike all the matter through A, and@ on line 11, and insert:

A(4) A statement that votes cast for minor party candidates or independent candidates by voters who choose to affiliate with a major political party will not be tabulated or reported; and

     (5) A statement that the party identification option will not affect votes cast for candidates for nonpartisan offices or for or against@

     On page 4, line 34, strike Amay not be tabulated@ and insert A, or for a minor party candidate or independent candidate, may not be tabulated or reported@

     On page 21, line 23, beginning with A, only@ strike all the matter through AEach@ on line 32, and insert Aeach@

     On page 22, line 19, strike A(4)@ and insert A(3)@

EFFECT:  Provides that votes cast for minor party candidates or independent candidates by voters who affiliate with a major party will not be tabulated or reported.
