    On page 2, line 27, after "9A.46.110."  insert the following:

    "The claimant must show that he or she is seeking safety or relief from the domestic violence by:

(a) Relocating to a residence that is separate from the perpetrator; and

(b) Filing a police report or obtaining a restraining order against the perpetrator."

    Renumber the sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: In order to qualify for unemployment insurance benefits, the claimant must file a police report or obtain a restraining order and relocate to a residence separate from the perpetrator.
