    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 3.  A new section is added to chapter 18.25 RCW to read as follows:

    The secretary shall establish by rule the education requirements necessary to ensure safe practices in the recommendation of medicines of herbal, animal, or botanical origin."

EFFECT:  Ensures that chiropractors who recommend naturopathic remedies will have the training necessary to make sure those medicines do not interfere with prescribed medicines in a way that is unsafe to patients.
