    On page 54, line 33, increase the general fund-state appropriation  for fiscal year 2002 by $3,967,000 and adjust the totals accordingly.

    On page 54, line 34, increase the general fund-state appropriation for fiscal year 2003 by $4,241,000 and adjust the totals accordingly.

    On page 54, line 35, increase the general fund-federal appropriation by $7,906,000 and adjust the totals accordingly.

    On page 55, line 1, increase the health services account appropriation by $140,000 and adjust the totals accordingly.

    On page 58, after line 19, insert the following: "(16) From funds appropriated in this section, the department shall continue to reimburse participating pharmacies for single-source drugs at 89 percent of the average wholesale price."

    Renumber the subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Provides funding and directs DSHS to continue to pay pharmacies 89% of average wholesale price for drugs dispensed to medical assistance recipients.
