Background:

School districts annually provide school district employee data to the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).  Such data includes employee program assignment, duties, average salary, and benefits.

Summary of Bill:

When a school district or educational service district contracts for services that have been previously performed by classified school employees, the contract must contain a clause that requires the contractor to provide the same employee information to the OSPI on the contracted employees as the school district or educational service district provides.

Appropriation:  None.

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
