Background:
Every board of school directors is required to provide screening of students for visual and auditory acuity to identify defects that retard studies, in accordance with rules of the state Board of Health in consultation with the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
