Background:  In the sale of real estate, Washington law provides for the seller to disclose on a form certain conditions of the real estate.  The disclosure form does not specifically provide for the disclosure of water infiltration through floors or walls.

 

Summary of Bill:  Specific disclosure of water infiltration through walls and floors of a home and if the infiltration repairs have been made is provided for in the disclosure form.

 

Appropriation:  None.

 

Fiscal Note:  Not requested.

 

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
