Title:  An act relating to electricians.

 

Brief Description:  Requiring entities licensed under chapter 19.28 RCW to display identifying information on the side of motor vehicles.

Background:  Electrical contractors are required to be licensed by the Department of Labor and Industries.  Electrical contractors are not required to display signs identifying their business and their contractors license number on their business vehicles.

 

Summary of Bill:  Electrical contractors must display, in a clearly legible style, their registered name and license number on any motor vehicle used in their business.

 

Appropriation:  None.

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
