Background:  Currently SR 513 begins in the south at SR 520 and extends northerly and easterly to the vicinity of Sand Point.

 

Summary of Bill:  SR 513 begins in the south at SR 520 and extends northerly to Northeast Pacific Street.

 

Appropriation:  None.

 

Fiscal Note:  Requested on February 5, 2002.

 

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.

 

Testimony For:  The segment recommended to be transferred to the city jurisdiction functions as any other city street does.  The segment recommended to be retained by the state serves traffic of a regional nature generated by the University of Washington campus and hospital and should therefore remain with the state.
