Restricting consumer appliance repair services offered by PUDs.

    AN ACT Relating to repair services offered by public utility districts; and adding a new section to chapter 54.16 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 54.16 RCW to read as follows:

    Nothing in this chapter authorizes districts to offer consumer appliance repair services for sale to end users.
