Requiring an ambulance and ambulance personnel at or near certain athletic event locations.

    AN ACT Relating to ambulances at boxing, wrestling, and martial arts events; and amending RCW 67.08.160.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

    Sec. 1.  RCW 67.08.160 and 1999 c 282 s 10 are each amended to read as follows:

    A promoter shall have an ambulance ((or paramedical unit)) and ambulance personnel present at the event location unless an ambulance and ambulance personnel actively on duty are located within five miles of the event location.
