HB 1414 - DIGEST

     Requires the secretary of state to establish and maintain a data base containing:

     (1) The names, residential addresses, and active or inactive voting status of all persons registered to vote in the state;

     (2) The names of persons convicted in the state for infamous crimes as defined in RCW 29.01.080;

     (3) The names and residential addresses of persons declared incompetent for purposes of rationally exercising the right to vote under chapter 11.88 RCW;

     (4) The names, residential addresses, and former names of persons who have legally changed their names;

     (5) Change of address information received under RCW 29.10.020 and 29.10.180; and

     (6) Cancellation information received under RCW 29.10.110.

     The secretary of state shall, at a minimum, update the data base on a monthly basis.
