HB 1485 - DIGEST

     Provides that, to improve safety and security within local schools, a school district board of directors may employ school security officers, the qualifications and duties of which shall be determined by the board.

     Provides that if a district authorizes school security officers to carry a firearm on school premises, the district shall enter into an agreement with a local law enforcement agency.
