HB 2330 - DIGEST

     Declares that each of these students are exempt from paying nonresident tuition at public institutions of higher education in this state if the student:

     (1) Lived in the state for a period of at least three years;

     (2) Graduated from a public or private high school in this state, or received the equivalent of a high school diploma in this state;

     (3) Is accepted and enrolled in a Washington institution of higher education; and

     (4) Provides to the institution an affidavit stating that the individual has or will file an application to become a permanent resident at the earliest opportunity the individual is eligible to do so.
