HB 2356 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 1ST SUB)

     Provides that a school age child in foster care fewer than sixty days shall, unless it is determined to be not in the best interest of the child, continue to attend school at the home school, notwithstanding the physical location of the child's principal abode.

     Provides that the best interest of the child determination shall be made at the seventy-two hour shelter care hearing, and reviewed at any subsequent shelter care hearing.
