HB 2461 - DIGEST

     Provides that, for section 1115 federal demonstration waiver requests that were submitted to the federal government prior to the effective date of this act, the department shall submit any approved waivers to the senate committee on health and long-term care and the house of representatives committee on health care for their consideration.

     Requires the department to request legislative approval prior to implementing any section 1115 federal demonstration waivers modifying the medical assistance program that have been approved by the federal government.
