HB 2843 - DIGEST

     Declares that the purposes of this act are to: (1) Reserve the right for schools throughout Washington to either sell unused, usable books or to give them away in a charitable fashion;

     (2) Aid schools throughout Washington with their declining revenue;

     (3) Free up more space in already crowded schools;

     (4) Assist those schools less fortunate; and

     (5) Allow libraries to donate books to places such as schools.
