HCR 4406-S - DIGEST

(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

     Establishes a blue ribbon commission on medical care cost and access.

     Requires the commission to submit an initial report to the legislature and the Governor on or before December 1, 2001; shall submit recommendations to the legislature and the Governor on or before December 1, 2002; and shall submit a final report to the legislature and the governor on or before December 1, 2003.  The commission shall cease to exist on December 1, 2003.
