(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

     Authorizes chiropractors to be licensed for the purposes of boxing and martial arts events.

     Provides that each contestant for kickboxing or martial arts events shall be examined within twenty-four hours before the contest by either an event physician or a chiropractor licensed by the department.

     Provides that, in addition to the event physician, a licensed chiropractor may be included as a licensed official at a kickboxing or martial arts event.
