SB 6032 - DIGEST

     Requires the department of transportation to convene a panel of stakeholders to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of removing the aviation division from the department of transportation and creating a Washington state department of aviation.

     Provides that, by December 1, 2001, the stakeholder panel shall make recommendations to the house of representatives and senate transportation committees and the office of financial management on the feasibility of creating a Washington state department of aviation.
