On page 1, after line 7, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The legislature intends that the select committee on pension policy manage and administer the public retirement systems of the state. The legislature further intends that the members of the committee exercise the fiduciary responsibility of trustees when managing and administering the assets of the retirement systems."

Renumber the remaining sections consecutively, correct any internal references accordingly, and correct the title.
