On page 1, line 13, after "(2)" insert "In the case of a school that uses a lottery for admission, the children of full-time certificated and classified school employees shall be considered as residents of the school district for purposes of admission by lottery and shall be permitted to participate in the lottery on the same basis as all residents of the school district.

EFFECT: Clarifies the meaning of full-time employee for the purpose of interdistrict transfers for children of school employees. Clarifies that for the purposes of admission lotteries, children of full-time school employees will be treated like residents of the school districts and the school zones in which the employee teaches and shall be allowed to participate in an admission lottery as a resident.
