On page 2, after line 31, insert the following:

"(3) If the contact ordered under this section reduces the residential time a child is required to spend with a parent, custodian, or other parties under a parenting plan, the court shall modify the parenting plan and provide that the reduction in time be allocated proportionately between the parent, custodian, or other parties, unless the court finds that a proportionate allocation would be inequitable to the parent, custodian, or other party. If the court does not allocate the time proportionately, the court must enter written findings of fact specifying the court's reasons for the deviation."

 

Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively.

 

 

 

 

EFFECT: Provides that if there is a parenting plan and court-ordered contact with nonparent reduces the time the child is supposed to spend with a parent, custodian, or other party, then the court must modify the parenting plan and the reduction in time must be allocated proportionately between the parent, custodian, or other party, unless such an allocation would be inequitable. If the court orders a different allocation, it must enter written findings specifying its reasons.
