On page 2, line 16, strike "the sale of or charge made for the furnishing of lodging that is" and insert "certain sales of or charges made for the furnishing of lodging that are"

On page 2, line 21, after "lodging" insert ", if the lodging occurs at a hotel or other lodging facility where more than forty rooms are furnished for lodging on a regular basis"

EFFECT: Limits the authority to impose the new assessment to hotels and other lodging facilities with more than 40 rooms.
