EFFECT: Clarifies language relating to consultations with WIN 211 concerning new public information telephone lines and hotlines to be established by state agencies. Clarifies language relating to the requirement that WIN 211 approve 211 service providers. Removes language referring to sources of funding established in the bill, which are not established in the bill. Specifies that the activities identified in the bill as eligible for funding are only eligible for funding from the 211 account, not from other legislative appropriations.
