On page 2, beginning on line 10, after "district" strike everything through "RCW" on line 14, and insert "will offer to students qualified to receive school lunches on a reduced-cost or free basis the option of either enrolling in a school district-provided traffic safety education course at a reduced rate or receiving a scholarship of an equivalent amount to enroll in any drivers' school licensed under chapter 46.82 RCW, based on available funds received under section 1 of this act"

EFFECT: Requires school districts to offer low-income students either reduced-rate school-based driver's education or scholarships to attend commercial driver training schools, based on funds received under this act.
