On page 2, line 10, after "appropriated." strike everything through "RCW." on line 14 and insert "Each school district that does not offer an approved standard traffic safety education course may contract to provide such a course for students qualified to receive school lunches on a reduced-cost or free basis."

EFFECT: School districts not currently offering approved programs could contract with another school district, an Educational Service District, or a commercial school to offer an approved course for low- income students.
