On page 17, line 4 of the amendment, after "districts" strike "information" and insert ":

(a) Information"

 

On page 17, line 5 of the amendment, after "students" insert "; and

(b) A collection of diagnostic tools that educators may use to evaluate the academic status of individual students. The tools shall be designed to be inexpensive, easily administered, and quickly and easily scored, with results provided in a format that may be easily shared with parents and students"

 

 

 

EFFECT: Directs the Superintendent of Public Instruction to include in the information provided to educators a collection of diagnostic tools that may be used to evaluate the academic status of students. The tools will be inexpensive, easily administered, and quickly and easily scored, with the results provided in a format that may be easily shared with students and their parents.
