On page 5, line 35, after "36.120.070." insert "If a county executive does not approve the plan for submission to the voters, the county legislative authority of that county may override the executive's decision in the same manner it may override an executive veto of an ordinance as provided for in the county's charter."

On page 7, line 19, after "plan." insert "If a county executive does not approve the plan for submission to the voters, the county legislative authority of that county may override the executive's decision in the same manner it may override an executive veto of an ordinance as provided for in the county's charter."

On page 8, line 5, after "membership" strike everything through "county" on line 6

On page 8, line 9, after "authority" insert "and the approval of the county executive of each participating county"

On page 8, line 10, after "voters." insert "If a county executive does not approve the modified plan for submission to the voters, the county legislative authority of that county may override the executive's decision in the same manner it may override an executive veto of an ordinance as provided for in the county's charter."

EFFECT: Allows the county legislative authority to override a decision by the county executive that can block county participation in the RTID. The override is the same as provided for in each county's charter.
