   On page 13, line 3, before "Sales" insert "(1)"

   On page 13, after line 4, insert the following:

   "(2) A jurisdiction that realizes a gain in sales tax revenues under the authority of this chapter as a result of the implementation of sections 501 and 503 of this act shall dedicate the gain for the purposes of public safety. The gain may not be used to supplant existing revenues that are expended for public safety purposes prior to the effective date of this section."

EFFECT: Requires local jurisdictions that realizes additional sales tax revenues as a result of the implementation of the sourcing provisions of the bill to spend the additional moneys for sales tax purposes.
