On page 1, line 23 of the amendment, after "commissioner" strike "must" and insert "may"

On page 2, line 17 of the amendment, after "that" strike all material through "coverage." on page 3, line 7 and insert the following:

"there are no insurers, including non-admitted insurers, writing liability insurance for adult family homes and/or providers of child welfare services at any price or premium level."

Correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:

•Makes it optional for the Commissioner to create a joint underwriting association.

•Requires the Commissioner to determine that there are no insurers writing liability insurance for adult family homes and/or child welfare services before an association may be created.
