   On page 8, after line 6, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 6. A new section is added to chapter 82.04 RCW to read as follows:

   In computing tax there may be deducted from the measure of tax amounts received under personal services contracts entered into under chapter 39.29 RCW, civil service contracts entered into under RCW 41.06.142, and purchased services contracts entered into under chapter 43.19 RCW."

   Renumber the sections consecutively, correct internal references accordingly, and correct the title.

EFFECT: Creates a business and occupation tax deduction for amounts received under state personal services, civil service, and purchased services contracts.
