   On page 3 of the amendment, after line 31, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Section 4. Every six years the joint legislative audit and review committee shall conduct a performance review of the board's business operations and comparative financial performance. Reimbursement for the performance review shall be made from the board to the joint legislative audit and review committee. The joint legislative audit and review committee shall report the findings of each performance review to the appropriate legislative committees, the ranking members of each party in the state senate and the state house of representatives, the state auditor, and the governor."

   Correct the title.

EFFECT: Requires the joint legislative audit and review committee to conduct a performance review of the state investment board's business and financial performance every six years and report the findings to the legislature, state auditor, and the governor.
