   On page 6, line 27 of the amendment, after "department" strike "must" and insert "may"

   On page 6, line 29 of the amendment, after "program." strike everything through "must" on line 30 of the amendment and insert "The department may"

   On page 7, line 12 of the amendment, after "department" strike "must" and insert "may"

   On page 19, line 32 of the amendment, after "department" strike "shall" and insert "may"

   On page 20, line 7 of the amendment, after "department" strike "shall" and insert "may"

EFFECT: Allows, rather than requires, the Department of Fish and Wildlife to develop general permits and five year renewable maintenance permits in lieu of issuing individual hydraulic permits.
