   On page 4, line 35, after "need." insert "Beginning with the 2005-06 school year, fifty percent of the distribution formula shall be based on an assessment of students and fifty percent shall be based on one or more family income factors measuring economic need."

EFFECT: Changes the LAP distribution formula. Beginning with the 2005-06 school year, 50 percent of the formula will be based on an assessment of students and the other 50 percent on family income factors measuring economic need.
