   Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The legislature intends to scrutinize closely the implementation of rules mandating cholinesterase monitoring by the department of labor and industries."

EFFECT: Expresses the Legislature's intent to scrutinize closely the Department of Labor and Industries' implementation of rules mandating cholinesterase monitoring. Deletes requirements for the Department to collect and analyze data to determine whether mandatory monitoring is warranted, pay certain costs of cholinesterase tests, or reimburse agricultural employers for certain costs of compliance.
