On page 1, line 13, after "exceed" strike all material through "ten" on line 14 and insert "six and one-quarter"

On page 1, line 15, after "county." insert "A county may levy an additional amount not to exceed three and three-quarters cents per thousand dollars of assessed value of all taxable property within the county if the additional levy is approved at a general or special election by a majority of voters voting on a ballot proposition authorizing the levy."

EFFECT: The allowable conservation futures levy is increased to 10 cents, but any increase beyond the existing 6.25 cents will require approval by a majority of voters in the county.
