EFFECT: Reduces the amount of the general fund-state appropriation required for fire suppression activities by $2,110,000. This would allow the Department of Natural Resources to devote these funds to other purposes, such as fire protection activities, and to reduce expenditures from the non-appropriated forest fire protection assessment account from the level proposed.

   The total appropriations are not affected.
