Background:

 

In 2002 the Legislature amended RCW 43.22.434 twice in the same bill. Both amendments added some identical language. One amendment added additional new provisions and made the entire section expire on April 1, 2004. The other amendment added additional new provisions that were to take effect on April 1, 2004.

 


 

 

Summary of Bill:

 

RCW 43.22.434 is amended to retain the provision and specify that certain provisions of the section are effective only until April 1, 2004, and other provisions are effective starting April 1, 2004.

Fiscal Note: Not Requested.

 

Effective Date: The bill takes effect 90 days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
