Background: In 2002, an amendment was made to RCW 42.44.030 adding language identical to language found in existing RCW 42.44.040. The Office of the Code Reviser has proposed that RCW 42.44.040 be repealed in an effort to streamline the statute.

Summary of Bill: This is a technical bill repealing RCW 42.44.040.

Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
