Background: The Office of Financial Management (OFM) was created to manage the planning and fiscal activities of state government. OFM has many statutory duties and responsibilities in addition to those listed in the chapter of law that creates OFM.

 

Summary of Bill: Statutes that place various responsibilities on OFM are amended. The amendments eliminate certain oversight and reporting responsibilities of OFM, correct statutory references, and modernize and clarify language.

 

Appropriation: None.

 

Fiscal Note: Not requested.

 

Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
