     AN ACT Relating to mitigating carbon dioxide emissions resulting from fossil-fueled electrical generation; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1   It is the intent of the legislature to establish the policy for mitigating carbon dioxide emissions resulting from the fossil-fueled electrical generation facilities located in Washington state.
