A specific and focused agenda for the annual meeting may include but is not limited to issues of transition from K-12 to higher education; the role of college placement or admissions tests and the Washington assessment of student learning; new ways to challenge students in the eleventh and twelfth grades; the role of college in the high school, and other dual credit programs such as running start and advanced placement; preparation of teachers in the college of education; and the role of guidance counseling in both secondary and postsecondary education.
